It is noteworthy that many devoted Sikhs incorporate the recitation of this Bani in their daily Nitnem practice.
This profound piece was crafted by Guru Arjan Dev in a tranquil location within a dense forest around AD 1602-03. The place of its origination still stands by the Ramsar pool in Amritsar, adjacent to the iconic Golden Temple, also known as Harimandir Sahib.
